5 Superhero films releasing in 2019 with best VFX

2018 was one of the best years for Marvel and DC films. If we start taking the names it will be a whole another article. Avengers: Infinity War, Aquaman, Black Panther and so many more. There were tons of superhero films which made into the history of best films ever.

The thing with art is that it keeps superseding the past and moving forward. The next year has some more amazing releases which are sure to raise the bar. This article is for all those comic fans that have been biting their nails and eagerly waiting to know which movies are coming next.

  • Avengers: Endgame

The last part of Avengers is so anticipated that the directors kept the name of the film under wraps for months. The trailer released on December 7, 2018. Since then, the MCU fans are not calm at all. On the other hand, critics are astonished to find out that the VFX which will be used in this part of Avengers is sure to break all records. After all the last film was one of the best visual effects work we have ever seen done by such comic book stories. Avengers: Endgame is all set to release on 26 April 2019.

  • Wonder Woman 2

Gal Gadot is going to make the re-appearance with the sequel of Wonder Woman. This will be released in November 2019. Since the film is partly set in a distant land of Amazons we can start thinking about the fictitious work of visual effects. All the scenes which were shot depicting the Amazon land were shot with the help of VFX only. The first film was obviously set in a different time period than the current urban setting. However, the next one is still a bit under the covers. We do not exactly know what the storyline is but DC fans are super stoked about it.

  • Dark Phoenix

Sophie Turner is back. Dark Phoenix will unveil the story of the popular X-Men character Jean Grey. You might wonder why we put this on the best VFX list. VFX  was very much influenced by the X-Men film for a very long time. This counterpart will definitely gain a lot of praise for the awesome storyline. The trailer came out this year and the audience has been super excited since then. Everyone wants to see the origin and how the character development will follow for this particular superhero. And we can be sure that the VFX will be of top-class level too.

  • Captain Marvel

Marvel has always been looked down by DC for the lack of individual female character representation. That is going to change completely with Captain Marvel. She is also going to appear in the Avengers last part as well. Since it’s the first Captain Marvel movie, no mistakes can be done with the post-production and obviously visual effects. We cannot possibly pass judgment without watching the film. Let’s wait and watch!

  • Shazam!

Shazam is another DC universe film based on the comic character of the same name. Shazam is relatively a new character for a lot of people to follow up with. Zachary Levi would be playing the role of Shazam and we are all very excited. The trailer was released a couple of days back worldwide which has received both positive and negative reviews. Well, I would say that it is too early to pass a critic review. We are looking forward to its visual effects for the sole reason of a debut. New superhero films have the tendency to put their heart and soul in making the VFX right. Let’s wait and watch if it’s up to the standards.
