VFX Story Of Cars 3 Animation Film

Cars 3 is a 2017 American 3D computer-animated comedy film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. It is the third instalment of the Cars film franchise and the sequel to Cars 2 (2011). Directed by Brian Fee, it stars Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Guido Quaroni and Katherine Helmond, reprising their voice roles from the first two films, along with Cristela Alonzo, Chris Cooper, Armie Hammer, Nathan Fillion, Kerry Washington and Lea DeLaria, who voice new characters.

The look of the characters and environments all started in the art department with 2D sketches create while the script was still being developed. “It’s up to us to achieve the spirit of the character in 2D before we get the green light to go to clay or go to a rough model,” explains production designer Jay Shuster. “And the way we get there is we provide the modelling team with orthographic drawings – the side, the top, the front and back view of a vehicle – to the best of our 2D translating abilities and drawing abilities. Then, they’ll layer that side view image in the computer and start placing those splines.”

In 2006, John Lasseter spoke about how they worked hard to make the animation believable, saying: “It took many months of trial and error, and practising test animation, to figure out how each car moves and how their world works. The third instalment of this series will be bigger and better than the rest two films for sure. The animation and VFX team has put the new technologies to use and developed it to a great extent. Visual effects play a very important role in a great animation production as that of the Cars movie. It has received positive critical acclaim over the globe for its animation and VFX work over the years and the story will be no different for receiving critique for this third instalment.

In a world populated solely by vehicles, racing rookie Lightning McQueen has taken the Piston Cup by storm. In the tradition of Pixar releases The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Monster’s, Inc., Cars is a terrific story. It’s a blast to watch (especially if you happen to be a car fanatic, as the realism of many visual details is astounding), and it’s loaded with positive messages about selflessness, slowing down, enjoying life and learning how to be a good friend. This film surely is a new step in the animation world where even inanimate objects could be used to create stories. The third instalment of cars movies is going to be awesome and amazing as well.
